The 6ft 5in South African is the latest addition to the Lynx player stable which includes Andrew Marshall.
The equipment agreement will see Maritz play Lynx clubs throughout the 2007 and 2008 seasons including the innovative new Black Cat woods and Lynx irons. The multi-year agreement will also see Maritz carry the Lynx bag and wear Lynx headwear.
With golfing pedigree that includes finishing 52nd on the European Tour order of merit in 2004, Maritz will be playing on the European Tour again in 2007 and is looking to make some waves using his new lynx equipment.
Reflecting on the agreement with Lynx, Maritz said: "I am thrilled to be working with such a fine brand that has a great heritage in the game, combined with some great new products. I'm really looking forward to our future success together."
